Coming in at a bargain £6, this white Italian is made with the much underrated Pecorino grape.

Finest St Mont
Once again excellent value at £6, this blend of St Mont offers tropical fruits and heaps of lemon in a fantastically balanced white from south west France.
A blend of Gros Manseng, Arrufiac and Petit Courbu, this wine is lovely and fresh, making the perfect accompaniment to warm summer evenings.
Finest Argentinian Malbec
Argentina has made a name for itself with its fantastic Malbecs. However, not all are created equal.
Tesco Finest Malbec weighs in with smooth, thick plum flavours and a fruity finish. An excellent example of a great Malbec, the grapes are grown in the infamous Mendoza Valley which produces some of the best Malbecs.

Côtes du Rhône Villages, France 2015
This Cotes du Rhone provides everything you look for in a red – soft red fruits, medium body and balanced finish with some spicy notes.
For £5, it’s hard to pick many faults. Try decanting into a jug for 30 minutes before drinking to let it open up and soften a bit.
Vina Del Cura Crianza, Rioja 2013
12 Months in American oak provides a rounded, smooth vanilla tones with a good spicy finish.
Tempranillo grapes give a good weight and ideal for serving with hard, protein rich cheeses and cured meats.
